About me
Hi there. My name is Dr. Choy, and I am a board-certified psychiatrist. I understand that seeking help can be scary as hell and a very vulnerable experience, which is why I try my best to create a space that is non-judgmental and comfortable for you to ask your questions. My ultimate goal is to help you improve your mental health and general well-being, to increase resiliency, and achieve the best possible quality of life. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your mental health goals. - Dr. Choy ________________________________________________________________ Dr. Nicholas Choy is a board-certified psychiatrist with a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of mental and behavioral health conditions. Dr. Choy has a unique perspective on mental health, having been born in the United States but raised in Malaysia, where he was exposed to a diverse range of cultures and beliefs. This experience has given him a deep appreciation for inclusivity and diversity, as well as an understanding of the ways in which culture, immigration, and intergenerational trauma can impact mental health. He is dedicated to de-stigmatizing mental illness and providing person-centered care that incorporates shared decision-making. Dr. Choy earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York where he was also Chief Resident. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an active-duty psychiatrist for 3 years, and was the Medical Director of Mental Health Outpatient Services at Maxwell Air Force Base. In his free time, Dr. Choy enjoys eating/trying new cuisines, traveling, snowboarding, scuba-diving, reading (fiction and anything Psychiatry-related), and attending live music festivals. He loves spending time with his friends and family.
Here's what I help with:
All through chat
How does it work?
Two steps. No appointments.
First, an AI Chief Resident
takes your history.
“Oh, just another AI chatbot…” Nope. Your medical care is 100% human. Our AI speeds up intake and keeps costs low.
Your real doctor replies,
typically the same day.
Your chosen doctor reviews your case and signs the plan with a live-recorded Human Signature™. Prescriptions and labs as needed.
What is a personal doctor?
A personal doctor handles all of your care: prescriptions, everyday advice, diagnoses, even keeping you on track. You wouldn't book an appointment to ask whether that product you saw on TikTok is worth it. You'd just message your personal doctor.
A doctor you trust, in your pocket, through your day-to-day life.
Care when you need it
Get medical help quickly, often same-day, not weeks from now.
Follow-ups included
Text your doctor about your concern and follow up freely, all in one conversation.
Never rushed
Thoughtful, detailed conversations that fit your life, not five-minute visits.
No surprise bills
One clear price, shown before you start. Pay per conversation, subscribe only if you want to.
Why the same doctor matters

Common questions
“What can I message you about?”
Anything you'd normally see a doctor for: symptoms, prescriptions and refills, lab results, a second opinion, or a question you're just not sure warrants a visit. If something needs to be seen in person, I'll tell you honestly and help you find the right care.
“How quickly will you reply?”
Usually the same day. My AI assistant gathers the details up front to save us both time, but it never gives medical advice. Every diagnosis, prescription, and treatment response comes directly from me.
“How will I know it's really you?”
My responses include a Human Signature: a short recorded video or audio message from me, so you know it's genuinely your doctor and not someone acting on my behalf.
“Is it a subscription? Can I cancel?”
Membership is monthly and you can cancel anytime. Not ready to commit? You can also get one-off access to talk through a single topic, with no subscription.
“Can you prescribe all medications for ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc?”
Unfortunately, I am not able to prescribe any controlled medications such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, Ritalin, Xanax, Klonopin, Ambien, and other medications due to federal regulations.
